I have been proudly enjoying my artistic craft of capturing memories and smiles for over 13 years. I've learned a lot over that time while working for myself about the value of photography and the power it can hold for people. I know I absolutely love photographing families and seniors. I specialize in them because I feel that they both have a huge impact on my clients lives.
I am a huge believer in having prints and albums to showcase your family as artwork proudly in your home. After all, why go through all the trouble of dressing up the kids just to have them sit on a jump-drive for the next 5 years? While I do offer digital services, I will be the first to tell you the importance of showing and sharing your portraits with loved ones.
I want you to look your best AND FEEL your best! Helping you to figure out all the little details is one of my favorite parts of my job! Locations, clothing, accessories, should I bring the dog?, do I need a second outfit? etc. Don't worry! I have got you totally covered! I will also come to your home and help you figure out just the right size and style to have printed after we are all done shooting!
I want to hear all about your lives and be involved in celebrating milestones with you! To share in the big moments and memories of your family and senior growing up. I truly love people and getting to build connections and friendships with them. Let me be part of your journey and help you create lasting memories!
Alright a few random facts just for the fun of it:
Both my husband and I are adopted and aspire to one day adopt a child of our own. SO COOL!
We have one dog and a house in Green Bay, WI (Go Pack Go). Many times Luna is with me on shoots when I am back in Rice Lake so if you are lucky enough you may get to meet the little stinker.
I LOVE to bake... I hate to do dishes. Can anyone relate?
I am so terrified to travel outside the US. However I hope to visit Austria (I'm a huge Sound of Music fan girl... or really any musical for that matter!), and Ireland.
What is my favorite thing to shoot? Well besides my adorable mixed rescue dog Luna (just kidding!). No but seriously I LOVE Senior and Family portraits equally! They both hold such a strong moment in time and generally capture people in an important part of their journey in life.
The one thing that scares me the most are snakes. GAH! Spiders, while I am not fond of them I can handle as long as they do not jump out of places at me.
Where can you find me on the weekends? Well when I am not out and about shooting with my awesome clients, I'm generally at home spending time with Luna and my husband Byron. He is my honorary assistant on some of my sessions. So you may see him buzzing around once and awhile when I need an extra hand. Do not worry we've been told he's a big part in helping seniors, kids and dads get real genuine smiles because of his goofy nature and personality ;-)
